On October 2nd 2012, we were given the opportunity to meet the Oscar winning Christine Blundell. She came to talk to us about film make-up and what she does, and how she became this international make up artist. Christine showed us that we can use Supermarket products and cheap ingredients that can be made into fake blood, sweat, sick, tears, bruises, cuts and many other things.
Having this workshop with Christine has helped me as it has given me many ideas of what kind of things I can apply to put in my work and has given me ideas on the types of things I could get to use instead of the professional make-up and special effects they use.
At the end, we had Q&A session with Christine Blundell - she discussed about her career and working in the film industry, also how important her role is in producing the film, the collaboration with directors and actors etc.
